About Natalie

How it all started

Natalie started learning glass-fusing and slumping techniques in 2013. Since then, glass has had a massive impact on her life, inspiring a glass studio at her home in Melbourne, Australia.

A signature quality of her pieces are their fun and quirky patterns and bold colour. As a bonus, no two pieces will ever be exactly the same.

Historically, Natalie’s body of work has included platters, bowls and plates, with the occasional experimental item. More recently, she has delved into sculptural art pieces.

“I've always been fascinated with glass, the colours and the light coming through, so much so that I was inundated with glass as wedding presents. My divorce present was learning to create and make what I love. Glass has become my passion. My little home studio has overtaken my garage and my life. I live it and love it. No two pieces are ever the same because I am in a constant state of transformation. I just want to share that love. Working with glass has indeed become my folly, but it sure does make me happy!”
